Exciting butterfly discovery published

Hello butterfly atlassers,

While it isn’t the time of year that most of you are thinking about butterflies, but I thought I would let you know that a brief note on the discovery of Dorcas Copper in Nova Scotia has just been published in the Journal of the Acadian Entomological Society. Check out the brief publication at http://www.acadianes.ca/journal/papers/klymko_11-16.pdf.

This find is one of the most significant finds of the Maritimes Butterfly Atlas so far, and it will hopefully have a significant impact on habitat conservation.
